- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation/synopsis reference number HQ002890788600 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24 effective 28 FEB 2008. The contractor must bid on ALL items and must be quoted FOB Destination. Partial quotes shall be considered nonresponsive. This will be a brand name only procurement, all equipment and associated parts must be as requested items because they are part of a complete system. Substitutes will not be accepted based on the justification: items must interface with existing equipment, items are spare repair or replacement part, items are component of a standardized system, and previous and on going training on this equipment. This is unrestricted. This requirement is excepted from Section 508 accessibility standards in that it is critical to the direct fulfillment of a military mission and is not used for routine administrative and business applications. The Government will issue an order to the responsible quoter, with acceptable past performance, submitting the lowest priced technically acceptable quotation.
