Description
M67854-09-Q-4723 - Notice of Sole Source Intent. Please see the attached Sole Source Justification. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The United State Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA, Contracting department intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Infonic. This solicitation is in support of the US Marine Corps. The award consists of unlimited use Enterprise Licensing Agreement (ELA) of a solution for integrated enterprise content replication and file optimization capabilities that includes brand name software which must be compatible and interoperable with existing United States Marine Corps (USMC) hardware and technology equi! pment and has been approved as part of the USMC software baseline. This integrated capability must identify and strip duplicative information, maintain electronic records of information removed, compress, replicate, and reassemble original content at the distant end. Infonic is the sole source proprietor of this software and doesn't have third-party reseller available. This action is solicited as a small business set-aside. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 511210 with a size standard of $25.0 million. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 25 March 2009, 10:00 AM EST via e-mail toISIContracts@usmc.mil.
