Description

Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, San Diego Sector intends to award a sole source bridge contract to Prudential Overall Supply for lease and laundering of uniforms, mats and shop towels for the Vehicle Maintenance facilities for a six month period. The period of performance for this bridge contract will be April 1, 2009 through September 30, 2009. The determination for this extension was executed in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 entitled “Option to Extend Services”. It is not in the Government’s best interest to compete this short six months for interim services and supplies. The Government intends to issue a competitive solicitation for these requirements on August 1, 2009. THIS SYNOPSIS IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT INTENDED TO REQUEST OFFERS FROM OFFERORS. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED.
