Description
SYNOPSIS FOR SOLICITATION N33191-09-R-0652: BASE OPERATING SERVICES FOR THE NAVAL STATION, ROTA, SPAINPOC IS CAROLYN SULLA AT NAVFAC EUROPE AT 011-34-956-82-1017. NAVFAC EURSWA intends to acquire all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to perform Base Operating Services Maintenance Operations (BOS) at the Naval Station, Rota, Spain. This is a source selection method of procurement to result in a combination Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (FFP/IDQ) contract with a base period of twelve months and four (4) one-year option periods; the total contract period is not to exceed sixty (60) months. The total value of the contract (base plus options) is estimated to be between ?25,000,000.00 and ?35,000,000.00. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror, who represents the best value to the government. The Government will evaluate the proposals based on price and technical factors, and award the contract to the offeror whose offer represents the acceptable proposal. NAVFAC EURSWA intends to issue a solicitation on or about 17-April-2009 with a closing date approximately 30 days after the issue date. The scope of work includes Janitorial, pest control, grounds and surface area maintenance, fuel system maintenance, swimming pools and Jacuzzi operations and maintenance, galley equipment maintenance services, elevator maintenance and inspection, boiler systems operations and maintenance, for the Naval Station, Rota, Spain. The target award date is the end of July 2009. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 56179, (MULT) Other Services to Bldgs and dwellings. The RFP will be available in electronic format only and will be posted on the electronic solicitation (Euro-Neco) website on or about 17-April-2009. Estimated proposal due date shall be approximately 30 days after the RFP is posted on the Euro-Neco website at the site address, Shortcut to: https://euro.neco.navy.mil/buyer/login.aspxNotifications of any updates or amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the website only. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the NAVFAC Euro-Neco website. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFFEROR TO CONTINUALLY VIEW THE WEBSITE FOR CHANGES. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors and contractor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. All interested firms must obtain a Dun & Bradstreet number for administrative purposes. The Dun & Bradstreet number can be obtained at: http://www.dnb.com/duns_update. Amendments will also be posted on the website for downloading. All interested offerors shall register at the website to ensure they are notified of updates or amendments to the solicitation as they occur. ***CONTRACTORS MUST CHECK THE "NAVFAC VENDOR" BOX WHEN REGISTERING in EuroNECO to be notified of NAVFAC business opportunities. No other notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. It is the responsibility of each bidder to check the websites periodically for any amendments to this solicitation. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All contractors proposing on Department of Defense Solicitations must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of the contract. The purpose of this database is to provide basic business information and capabilities to the Government. The CCR website can be accessed at www.ccr.gov. You are encouraged to register as soon as possible. All new contracts can ONLY be awarded to contractors who are registered i! n CCR.
