- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division is issuing synopsis N00178-09-Q-3010 to modify NSWCDD contract N00178-08-C-3003 to increase the ceiling of the contract to allow continuity of services until the new contract is awarded. The period of performance will remain the same. The existing contract is with Colonial Assembly & Design, Incorporated, 3361 Shannon Airport Circle, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22408-2337. Award date is estimated in April 2009. Colonial Assembly & Design is the proprietary designer of the intricate design of the DF Pod and its internal components. Colonial is the original equipment manufacturer of the Cluster Robin RF distribution assemblies. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT information contained in the CDR database.
