Description

Contract work includes saw cutting and excavating areas of chipseal, placing and compacting aggregate base and asphalt, removing and replacing a corrugated metal pipe (CMP). Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies, and perform all work required in accordance with the specifications of the contract. PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located on the Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. From Fort Jones travel approximately 25 miles south on State Highway 3 to junction of Gazelle-Callahan Road. Bear left and proceed 8.6 miles to junction of Rail Creek Road. Turn right and proceed.7 miles to beginning of project. This is an RFQ unrestricted under the competitiveness demonstration project. PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work date is June 1, 2009. CONTRACT TIME: 21 Calendar days. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: A pre-proposal tour will not be conducted. BONDING IS REQUIRED of the successful offeror at time of award. A bid guarantee is required with offeror's submitted proposal. The solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about March 31, 2009. Interested contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register at this website to receive email notification of any postings concerning this project, such as amendments.
