- The contractor shall modify the MK 98 MOD 5 FC (542) UKSF Fleet Documentation, to include FC SMGS 2.0 and FC Mod 7 (842) Fleet Documentation requirements and updates, to account for the new WSSRS equipment differences Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
