This product is an optical particle counter capable of measuring high aerosol particle concentrations over the range of particles produced by the NIOSH particle generation system and providing a high resolution of particle size distributions while using low input flow rate. A system for measuring the size and concentration of airborne particles is required that has the following specifications: 1. Must be capable of measuring aerosol particles with diameters of 0.09 to 7.5 micrometer. 2. Must be capable of measuring aerosol particle concentrations of up to 5000,000,000 particles/cubic foot air. 3. Aerosol flow rate should be up to 95 standard cubic centimeters/minute. 4. Must be capable of resolving particles into 100 particle size channels over the specified size range. 5. Must be capable of collecting and storing data in a digital format that can be read or transferred to a standard Windows-based computer. 6. System should be powered by standard 120 VAC power. Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities identified above are encouraged to submit to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the posting date of this notice, their written capabilities statement and pricing information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages.
