Description
Project 630-08-414, Energy Project This notice is for project, '630-08-414, Energy Project @ VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY 11209.' This shall be a Service Disabled Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. The project falls under NAICS Code 238220, and has a Small Business Standard of $14 Million. The estimated price range for this project is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 respectively. The SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE BASE BIDis as follows: 1.Provide all necessary labor and material to install occupancy sensors and associated conduits and wiring as shown on the drawings. 2.Provide all necessary labor and material to install PRV jackets where indicated on the drawings. 3.Provide all necessary labor and material to remove and replace steam traps and install transmitters as indicated on the drawings.. 4.Provide all necessary labor and material to install economizers and new motors on air handling units as shown on the drawings. 5.Provide all necessary labor and material to install insulation on the OPC Building 15 skylights as shown on the drawings. 6.Provide all necessary labor and material to install compact fluorescent light bulbs as indicated on the drawings. 7.All work shall be done in accordance with the drawings and specifications. 8.All work shall be done in accordance with the National Electric Code. 9.All debris shall be removed from the site. The SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE BID ALTERNATE IS as follows: Includes all work listed in Base Bid except deduct all work shown on drawings M1.01, M1.02, M1.03, M1.04, M2.01, M3.01 and M3.02. Base bid completion time is 300 calendar days, completion time for bid alternate is 275 days, from NTP. -Other details/information is in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.fbo.gov The solicitation will be posted on March 30, 2009 and the anticipated closing date is April 30th, 2009 at 3:30pm EST. The bid submittal address and time will be included in the solicitation. Bid submissions shall be in hardcopies and not e-mailed or faxed. This project requires the bidders/contractors to secure bonding. All bidders shall be registered and verified in the www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov and https://orca.bpn.gov/ Award is subject to availability of funding. THIS IS A SDVOSB PROCUREMENT.
