- W9071090440003- Rental of Tent- Dates needed- 28 MAR 2009 to 08 MAY 2009 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. This is totally set aside for small businesses. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. Register at www.ccr.gov. The vendor must be ORCA certified at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Applicable NAICS code is 532490. See below for description of services requested. Award will be made to the lowest offeror whose services meet the Governments minimum needs. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items is applicable to include: 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests, and 252.247.7023 w/ Alt III Transportation of Supplies by Sea. **The following must be furnished with the quotation: 1. Complete descriptive literature for the items proposed; items must be equivalent to the specifications listed below; 2. Prompt payment terms; 3. Completed copy of provision at DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications--commercial Items. Description of items: 1-Tents, QTY- 1 each Dates of service for rental tent needed: 28 MAR 2009 to 08 MAY 2009. Must include all of the following: 1-Tent- 80W x 100 L- FT 2-Flooring- 80W x 100 L- FT 3-Lighting- 80W x 100L- FT 4-Emergency Exit Package- 80W x 100L- FT 5-Double doors- 80W x 100L- FT 6-Power and HVAC- 80W x 100L- FT The tent must be self supporting with a raised flooring 4-6 inches above the tent base. The tent flooring must be level with no more than a 2% incline or decline in the flooring. The flooring must accommodate the weight of up to 300 people and various audio-visual equipment listed in the below power requirements. 75 tons of HVAC is required to maintain an average temperature of 75 degrees at the time of year that this proposal is requested, should a lower average temperature be required we would increase to 100 tons. Refrigerated air and electric heat will be used that will be run off generator power. A 200kw generator will be used to power the HVAC and some additional power requirements, details of additional power requirements will be required to make sure that the size the generator correctly. 2. The doors must have push bar openings. The power requirements must accommodate the following: a. 50-each computers b. 3 each Copiers c. 4-each TVs d. 10-each coffee makers e. 2-each refrigerators f. 3-each projectors g. 2-each sound/microphone systems 3. Location: Oro Grande Base Camp 4. Require tent maintenance within 60-minutes after maintenance call to company.
