- NAICS Code: 721110 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), number RFQ-DC-09-00145, for a conference facility for 76 people from April 30, 2009 through May 1, 2009. This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-30. Description of requirement. EPA intends to host a conference on April 30, 2009 through May 1, 2009 for 76 people. The specifics are as follows:1.Facility must be within fifty miles of Washington, DC and have adequate parking;2.Lodging (single occupancy) for 76 people for April 30th; (Must be within Government per diem rates for the area) 3.Lunch and dinner meals required for 76 people for April 30, 2009; 4.Breakfast and lunch meals on May 1, 2009 required for 76 people;5. Meeting conference room(s) both days for 76 people (1-2 break out rooms);6. Room(s) for both days must have Audio/Visual equipment - 2 flip charts, markers, overhead projector with slide projector, LCD projector, projector screen, VCR & Monitor, podium and microphone, whiteboard, pencils and pads for 76 people;7.Continuous refreshment breaks for both days. 8.Six(6) flip charts. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-3, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-50, and 52.225-13, 52.232-33. These provisions may be viewed electronically at www.arnet.gov. Award can only be made to a Contractor registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Submission. Provide a cost quote for each of the following: 1.Lodging and meals for both days (include an example of the menu for each meal) 2.Conference room rental for both days 3. Per #6 above for both days; 4.Audio visual equipment as described above under #6.Quotes must be submitted via email by 1400 hours Washington DC time by 16 March 2009 to Margaret Kline at kline.margaret@epa.gov (202-564-4238). Include relevant contact information such as the facility's name, address and name, email address and phone number of the contact person. Evaluation of quotes will be made based upon availability and cost. A fixed priced purchase order award will be made to the responsive offeror who represents the best value to the Government.
