Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) proposes to enter into a sole source contract with Schindler Elevator Corporation located at 12000 Indian Creek Court, Suite C, Beltsville, Maryland. Service is for maintenance and repair of (9) Schindler elevator systems and one (1) wheelchair lift installed in the NRC's Two White Flint North (TWFN) Building. The period of performance will be from May 6, 2009 thru May 5, 2010 with four, one-year options. Schindler Elevator Corporation developed the proprietary software for the program analysis and diagnostics on the elevators and is the only known qualified source possessing the knowledge and expertise to perform the required work. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Request for copies of this solicitation will not be honored unless the respondent provides evidence showing their capability to perform the required services.
