- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotes are being requested. Solicitation PR-NC-09-10335 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. This requirement is being solicited as an unrestricted procurement on a full and open competitive basis. The North American Industry classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541511 size standard of $25M. This requirement being solicited is for a Software Maintenance Renewal for Report Writer (WIFIDEL & TED) with a Period of Performance from April 1, 2009 ? March 31, 2010. This software resides on an IBM 2096-S07-L04, Group 70, Serial number 020978D, machine running Z/OS and is located at 109 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27711. This server, while physically located at EPA?s facility, is owned by Computer Sciences Corporation, a contractor to the EPA, whose current contract expires on September 30, 2009. Renewal of Maintenance for the following suite of products: 1. RSYS Report Writer (w/IFDEL + TED), 2. MSYS DBMS/Trans Processor, 3. DBMS Central DB/DBMS Server, 4. HLT Host Language Interface, 5. TT Talk Technologies, 6. GRPH Graphics, 7. STAT Statistics, 8. DIF PC Data Export Interface, 9. ADAB ADABAS Read Interface and 10. DD Data Dictionary.
