Description
THE POINT OF CONTACT FOR THIS PROCUREMENT IS ELSA GONZALEZ, TELEPHONE (310) 725-7499. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ANYBODY ELSE. THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE AND THE CORRECT SMALL BUSINESS DECLARATION FORM IS ATTACHED. IT MUST BE FILLED OUT AND INCLUDED WITH YOUR REQUEST.The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area, Los Angeles, CA has a requirement to replace the Air Conditioning System serving the Ontario Base Building of the Ontario Airport Traffic Control Tower located in Ontario, CA. The Contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services. Work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Replace existing air conditioning systems, including HCU-11/CU-11, HCU-12/CU-11, HCU-13/CU-13, HCU-14A/CU-14A, and HCU-14B/CU-14B, 2. For systems referenced above, replace all associated refrigerant piping, insulation, piping accessories, condensate piping, duct transitions and return air plenums. 3. Replace safety switches for all CU units and associated sealtight conduit. Provide new disconnects, conduits, and wiring for all HCU units. Replace circuit breakers and wires serving CU-14A and CU-14B. 4. Provide new thermostats, thermostat covers, and associated wiring. 5. Remove unused condensing units located in the airport traffic control tower (ATCT) upper intermediate level, all associate ductwork, electrical and controls. Award will be based on the best value to the FAA considering total costs, past performance/experience, technical capabilities and cost realism. The contractor must have successfully completed similar projects both in dollar and scope. Vendors must complete and submit the attached Business Declaration Form. Contractors must have an active registration in the CCR before contract award can be made. Contractors can register at: www.ccr.gov The work will be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and contract provisions under the subject contract. Award of a firm-fixed-price contract is being contemplated to a responsible offeror who submits the responsive offer to this requirement. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
