- MARKET SURVEY is being conducted to determine if there are adequate Small Business Contractors for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for maintenance, service and construction activities. IDIQ/MATOC contracts provide a quick response mechanism for awarding urgent maintenance repair, services and minor construction requirements primarily within the Louisville District, but extending to other Districts within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division. The task orders will consist of O&M type work for civil works functions (Locks and Dams/Flood Risk Management/Disaster Assistance). The work includes, but is not limited to: minor building construction, building renovation, all types of building/facilities demolition, building debris type removal, structural/mechanical/electrical repairs, site work, utility installation/replacement, paving, channel improvements, bank stabilizations, industrial repairs, security systems and fencing, equipment upgrades, landscaping, geotechnical work, mapping and surveying, instrumentation, architectural lead paint and asbestos abatement and design associated with all of the various aforementioned tasks. The work can also consist of emergency response to natural and national disasters including floods and tornados and emergency repairs to bridges, structures, roads and stream channels. Any design efforts will be incidental to the construction and shall be done by registered professionals. The MATOC contracts will consist of a one year base period and four one-year option periods for a total of five years. Total contract capacity under the Small Business MATOC contracts is planned to be $15 million per year for up to five years for a total of $75 million. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. The maximum task order limit will be $5 million. All interested Small Business contractors should respond to this survey by email NLT 23 March 2009, 4:00 p.m. Louisville Local Time. Responses should include: 1) Identification and verification of the companys small business status; 2) The level of performance and payment bonding capacity that the company could attain for the proposed contract; 3) Descriptions of Experience provide descriptions of at least two projects but no more than five, completed within the last five years similar to this proposed contract in scope. With each project experience provided, include the date when the project was completed or will be complete, location of the project, your firms role on the project, contract amount, the portion of work that was self-performed, and whether the project was design/build or not. Please include only a narrative of the requested information NOT TO EXCEED THREE PAGES IN LENGTH. Additional information will not be reviewed.
