Description

The 15th Contracting Squadron intends to award a Sole Source contract to The Chronicle of Higher Education to advertise in The Chronicle for Higher Education Newspaper and online edition to recruit for the Dean, College of Security Studies (CSS). The Chronicle for Higher Education has a worldwide circulation of over 80,000 academics and a total readership of 350,000 and is the leading source for academic recruitment. It is the belief of the 15th Contracting Squadron that The Chronicle of Higher Education is the only publisher and distributor that will meet our needs. There are no other resellers or distributors. The Chronicle of Higher Education will run four (4) issues starting on March 20, 2009 and ending April 30, 2009. Interested sources that believe that they have the capability to perform the services may contact me at (808) 448-2944 or via email at kimberly.johnson@hickam.af.mil. Responses must be received no later than 0800AM, HST on Tuesday, March 10, 2009. The Government will consider all responses but a determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely under the discretion of the Government. This action is under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A copy of the Sole Source Justification is available upon request.
