- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitues the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. The RI Army National Guard has a requirement for Guestrooms, rental of meeting space, meals, parking and audio visual support for its Strong Bonds Program. The contractor shall provide all supplies and services as specified in the Statement of Work in the Solicitation. The Governments Preferred Locations are Providence (Downtown), RI or Newport, RI only. The multiple Periods of Performance are 20-22 March 2009, 17-19 April and 15-17 May 2009. The solicitation issue date is 7 March 2009 and the closing date is 12 March 2009 NLT 08:00 AM. A single firm fixed-price contract is contemplated; however, multiple awards may result. The Small Business Set aside is dissolved and this solicitation is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 721110 and the Size Standard for Small Business is $7.0 million average annual gross revenue of the concern for the last three (3) fiscal years. Evaluation Criteria is Price. This solicitation package will be forwarded to the Providence Warwick Convention Visitors Bureau to facilitate passing the requirement to the hotel community. The solicitation package will be issued via the web at the following website: http://www.ripfo.ngb.army.mil/eb/avertised solicitations.asp. All amendments and questions (Request For Information) will be posted on this web site. All interested parties are encouraged to visit this website often for all updates associated with this solicitation. All RFIs must be emailed to the POCs at the below email address(es) and must be submitted prior to the Closing Date. The Contracting Office will have limited staffing during the period of this solicitation.
