- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applera Corporation d/b/a Applied BioSystems, North American Sales and Service, 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Mailstop 401-2, Foster City, CA 94404, for a one year full service maintenance agreement. Line Items 1-8) 7000 Sequence Detection Systems in the following locations: El Paso, TX; Baltimore, MD; Austin, TX; and Jacksonville, FL. CDC believes that this requirement can best be provided by one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy Agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
