Description
FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire a one year maintenance agreement for the maintenance of Hyperion 9 system (Oracle)for the Washington Navy Yard, Washington DC. The system consists of Part Number HS90000141 Hyperion Foundation Test and Development, HS90000151 Hyperion System Foundation CPU, HS90000301 Hyperion System 9 BI+ Interactive Reporting Test and Development and HS90000311 Hyperion System 9 BI+ Interactive Reporting CPU. This is a requirement for the maintenance of this system. Software Maintenance includes services necessary to maintain the software functionality for the period of the maintenance agreement. Technical assistance shall be made available via telephone support for the purposes of providing user assistance in the identification and rectification of problems/malfunctions/Bugs. Software updates, including product upgrades, maintenance releases, and patches, shall be made available to the user. The Government intends to solicit ! and negotiate with only one source under the authority of section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, as implemented by FAR 13.501 (a), a Sole Source Acquisition under the authority of the test program for certain commercial items. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using Subpart 13.5 test program procedures. Award of a firm fixed contract is anticipated. All required deliverables shall be furnished within 30 days after date of contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard for this procurement is 511210 and 500 employees respectively. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by sending challenges to David Moore at david.moore8@navy.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all challenges to this sole source determination received within 5 days after date! of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
