Description

Notice of Intent to Award to a Sole Source The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Research Facilities, Office of Acquisition, Facilities Support Services Contracting Branch intends to issue on a sole source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106(b) “Soliciting from a Single Source” with Telvent USA, Inc. NIH requires continued service and maintenance for the utilities monitoring computer system. The contractor shall provide remote and on site administration activities to include a VPN connection for the purposes of trouble shooting, software updates, product enhancements, bug fixes and new application integration. Included as part of the administration activities server and workstation checks for memory usage and disk space. Perform communications checks, review communication statistics, monitor processor performance, clean up files, and verify error logs. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price award order for these services. Written responses to this notice will not be honored and a formal solicitation will not be published.
