- M67854-09-Q-4096 - Notice of Sole Source Intent. Please see the attached Sole Source Justification. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and IAW test procedures outlined under FAR Subpart 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The United State Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA, Contracting department intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Hewlett-Packard Company, Inc. Customer Education Center. This solicitation is in support of the US Marine Corps Intranet Services Program. The award consists of training for 2, 3 day training sessions for 20 people. This training has previously been provided to t! he PM for Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) HP is the sole source proprietor of this training and doesn't have third-party trainer available. This action is solicited as unrestricted. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 611710 with a size standard of $7.0 million. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 10 March 2009, 10:00 AM EST via e-mail to jodie.shifflett@usmc.mil.
