- The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to questions regarding the RFI. I. Questions and Responses 1) Is there a requirement to track Volunteer Benefit selections and elections, e.g. Peace Corp provided health insurance coverage? Should they be able to not only see but select their benefits online using Self Service? Response: Peace Corps is requesting information to gain knowledge and assess the availability of products. There is no requirement at this time. 2) What version of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials is Peace Corps currently running? We are asking this question due to future integration possibilities. Response: Peace Corps is running version 11.5.10 CU2. 3) Will the Peace Corps consider using this system to manage the HR for full time Peace Corps employees? Response: Peace Corps is requesting information to gain knowledge and assess the availability of products. There is no requirement at this time. 4) What is the average number of Peace Corps volunteers on staff at any given time? Response: Currently, Peace Corps has approximately 8,000 volunteers in the field at any one time. 5) First, is there an approximate number of users that will be accessing this system initially and perhaps into the near future? Response: Peace Corps estimates a user base of approximately 600 up to 1500 staff members. To date, there has been a substantial increase in the number of applications. 6) Also, is the Peace Corps looking for a hosted system utilizing vendor hosting services, or do you require a client hosting process?
