- THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN POSTPONED INDEFINITELY. Project consists of general construction, alterations, mechanical, electrical work, removal and replacement of existing structure, concrete, masonry, structural, carpentry, interiror work, painting, and building appurtenant work. Information about the time and location of the site visit will be found in Section 00100 of the specifications. Type of award: Firm-Fixed Price construction contract. This procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: Z149, NAICS Code: 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, $33.5 M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. The estimated cost range of this procurement is $5,000,000 - $10,000,000. The acquisition method is negotiated procurement. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms. Solicitation documents will be available on or about February 11, 2009. PRPOPOSALS ARE POSTPONED INDEFINITELY. Offerors will be required to submit both a technical and a price proposal. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. It is the Government's intent to award based on initial offers without discussions, therefore, the offerors shall submit their best technical and price proposals. Evaluation factors may consist of the following: Experience on similar contrats; past performance on similar contracts; technical approach, methods and procedures; corporate management structure; capability to manage and control project; key personnel; present workload; and offeror's succession plan. ALL OFFERORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO AWARD. SOLICITATION ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS: The above referenced solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on FedBizOpps (FBO) at www.fbo.gov.
