Description
The United States Government seeks to locate approximately 10,432 Rentable Square Feet to yield a minimum of 9,068 Usable Square Feet of office and related space for consolidation of two APHIS programs in Portland, OR. The space will be utilized for office, general storage, and special use. Additionally, adequate secure surface parking must be available to accommodate a minimum of 10 fleet vehicles and 5 visitor spaces. Parking area must be paved and provide adequate illumination. The building offered must not contain sprayed on fireproofing or acoustical treatment containing asbestos. Building must be professional in appearance, well-maintained, and of modern design or tastefully rehabilitated for modern use. Space offered must have potential for efficient layout and be ready for occupancy by mid to late 2009. A fully-serviced lease is desired. Lease term required is 10 years, 5 years firm. Renewal options may be requested. The delineated area is as follows: PDX Airport on the North; State Highway 30 on the South; Highway 205 on the East; and, Colwood National Golf Course on the West. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building’s ownership. If you desire to submit a location for consideration, please forward information by 5:30 PM EST, March 16, 2009. Expressions of interest should include: building name and/or site address; legal description; 1/8 inch scale drawing of space offered or proposed site plan; rentable square feet offered and rentable rate per square foot (specifying services and utilities included); method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet; and, contact information for owner or authorized agent.
