Description
Water based polyurethane foam designed for void filling, as follows:1. Water based foam that is CFC free and environmentally safe. 2. Packaged in two separate components that are mixed together when ready to use. 3. Packaged in self-dispensing container, requiring no additional dispensing equipment. 4. Suitable for transport in a back pack, weighing less than 30 pounds. 5. Quantity needed shall be enough foam to fill 1,200 sq ft. 6. Characteristics shall include ease of mixing, high closed cell content, good dimensional stability. Contractors shall include with their quote a copy of the specifications for the foam insulation that they are quoting on. Specifications shall include distinguishing typical reaction properties, characteristics, resin properties, viscosity properties and any and all other pertinent information. The application for this product is to fill an abandoned mine shaft, accessible only by foot or helicopter. The National Park Service will make this mine shaft safe by installing an expandable polyurethane foam to plug the shaft. The reactant and reagent shall be mixed together; this liquid turns to foam; the foam expands to 15 times the liquid volume; the foam solidifies to a solid, closed cell material conforming to that surface into which it is poured. The solid foam shall be inert and shall support significant weight. Contractor shall include with their quote 5 references of where their product was used in a similar capacity as required for this application. Award shall be made to the Contractor that offers the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. To Submit A Quote:1.
