Description
REPLACES MARKET SURVEY 4440-1 This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for new spares Motor Control Generators, used on 5kW through 10 kW 50-60HZ TQG and 400 Hz. Generator Sets. We are buying a quantity for delivery via a five year flexible long term contract with the following range quantities: 3 low and 36 high per year for the entire five years. Request that suppliers provide the government with their Production Lead time and an economical low, medium and high range for these items. The NSNs are 6110-01-394-4052, DWG No. 88-20032 and NSN 6110-01-382-8413, DWG No.88-20034. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units is not available from the Army. Suppliers must provide complete testing-troubleshooting of devices in accordance with the generator-set size these will serve. Generator sets for testing are not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, and ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit from the previous suppliers listed above. The response should also include production lead times, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, part number & CAGE of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts, Alternate parts would have to pass extensive performance and qualifications testing to ensure the parts meet the Militarys requirements, the cost of which would be considered in the acquisition decision. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. For more information contact Rafael Gonzales-Lagos, (732)532-5575 or e-mail rafael.gonzaleslagos@us.army.mil. The deadline for response is March 13, 2009. EMAIL: Rafael.gonzaleslagos@us.army.mil
