- ****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO MARY BAITES, CONTRACTING OFFICER. No telephone request will be accepted. You may mail or fax your request ATTN: CCAM-SM-A, Mary Baites, Contracting Officer, email mary.baites@us.army.mil, fax # (256) 955-9220. The US Army Avaition and Missile Command propose a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Type contract to procure parts/materials and labor to convert/upgrade PATRIOT Anti-Tactical Missile (ATM) Forebodies to the Guidance Enhanced Missile Plus (GEM+) configuration in support of the Modernization Through Spares (MTS)Program/Continuous Technology Refreshment (CTR). This contract includes an Over and Above Cost Plus Fix Fee (CPFF) Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) to purchase consumables/expendable parts and labor to complete the upgrade of subassemblies in the PATRIOT forebody. INPUT: NSN: 1410-01-319-6908, APN: 11465795, NOUN Guided Missile Forebody; OUTPUT: NSN: 1420-01-502-0061, APN: 11480248, NOUN Guided Missile Forebody. The effort will be for Fiscal Year (FY) 10, FY 11 and FY 12. This requirement is restricted to Raytheon Company, 350 Lowell Street, Andover, Massachusetts, the only known source who possesses the necessary technical expertise, experience, unique facilities and capability required to perform this effort; no other contractor has been identified that can perform this action. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
