Description
NSN: 3110-01-546-1855, Ball, Bearing. Drawing in accordance with 19207 12475035, Amendment Dated 05 Nov 02, Type Number: 12475035. Inspection and Acceptance is at Origin. FOB Destination. Requested delivery is 168 Days ARO. This NSN is not a critical application or a critical safety item. Quality Control Code is FCA which is a Higher Level Quality System which will apply to the manufacturer and/or both the manufacturer and dealer facilities if quoted by a dealer. Procurement is DLA Direct (Stock) and the contractor’s packaging facility shall adhere to the Quality Assurance Verification requirements in accordance with MIL-DTL-197K. Solicitation will result in a Firmed Fixed Price Contract. This RFP will be solicited as a 100 % small business set-aside with full and open competition. Pricing will be evaluated on the quoted price for 5,956 packages (PG) with 144 balls per package for a total of 857,664 bearing balls. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated Solicitation issue date is March 3, 2009. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
