- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price services type contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with IHS Global Inc per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The requirement is for web-based subscription services that provide access to technical data, information, and standards from many technical sources in support of SRF-JRMC Yokosuka Japan. Each of the technical sources, along with the GSA schedule items, must provide simultaneous user access for federal and military standardization documents to include a warranty that has sufficient title to copyr! ighted works as proof between the vendor and the respective standardization organization allowing for electronic distribution and provides the user rights to use, reproduce, disclose, display, perform and prepare derivative works of the respective documents must be provided. Period of performance shall be from 14 March 2009 through 13 March 2010. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 27 February 2009 with a closing date of 09 March 2010. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12, 15 and 13.5, utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation procedures. This solicitation N00406-09-T-0591 and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted do! cuments. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes via NECO is not available at this time.
