- N00104-09-Q-Q396 - Notice of Sole Source Intent. Please see the attached Sole Source Justification. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and IAW test procedures outlined under FAR Subpart 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The United States Navy's Naval Inventory Control Point-Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 Code 0272 contracting department intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Energy Technologies, Inc. (ETI), 219 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH 44902-1845. This solicitation is in support of the US Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Center-Phila's C4ISR program office's Joint Service Imagery Processing System-Nav! y (JSIPS-N) program. The award consists of 22 each 2.5 kVa UPS configured in 2 "U" high and 26" deep chassis with slide mount and internal battery backup. Arranged with SNMP interface. Configured and equipped with MS connectors for input and output each with circuit breaker protection. Designed to meet 461E, 1399, 901D specifications. ETI part number ETI0001-2277. These UPS units have previously been tested and approved for compatibility with the existing JSIPS-N weapons systems configuration. JSIPS-N requirements have been validated at the National Test Organization (NTO) by the Integrated Test Facility (ITF) using classified operational software. The specially configured ETI UPS units are the only UPS units that will work with the JSIPS-N System. Delivery is FOB Destination, 30 days after receipt of order to SPAWAR-Phila 19111. ETI is the sole source proprietor and manufacturer of these UPS units and doesnot have third-party vendors for their products. This action is solicited as unrestricted. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 335999 with a standard size of 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
