- Description
- The Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific intends to solicit a multi-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity requirement to perform Habitability Renewal Services for various WHEC 378’ cutters homeported throughout in the Pacific Area including Alaska, Washington State, California, and Hawaii. All work will be performed at the following homeports: •Kodiak, AK homeport •Honolulu, HI homeport •Seattle, WA homeport •Alameda, CA homeport •San Diego, CA homeport Base Year performance period is from 01 MAY 2009 -30 APR 2010, with four (4) option years. Option years are as follows: •Option Year One 01 MAY 2010 – 31 APR 2011 •Option Year Two 01 MAY 2011 – 31 APR 2012 •Option Year Three 01 MAY 2012 – 31 APR 2013 •Option Year Four 01 MAY 2013 – 31 APR 2014 The actual work performance periods will be coordinated with the contractor and cutters. Work items will include, but not limited to: renewal of sinks, shower heads, water closets, deck coverings (interior polymeric, interior carpet, or Phoenix One Step), wet deck coverings (Interior Quarry tile), insulation in berthing areas, and rockers and lacks for junior enlisted berthing areas. On or about 12 MAR 2009, an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Only certified 100% small business contractors may submit a bid. Multiple awards may be made based on geographic lots to the responsive, responsible bidder under this solicitation.. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to access the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration.
