Description: The Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is looking to award a janitorial service contract for the North Willamette Valley region; specifically for the locations listed-- Big Cliff Dam, Detroit Dam, Foster Lake Dam, Green Peter Dam and campsite areas of these locations. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Janitorial Services and minimal grounds cleanup as defined in this Solicitation. This is a Firm Fixed Priced Contract, with a base year and four optional years per the Governments needs. The period of performance will be tentatively 01 April 2009 through 31 December 2009 for the base year, and 01 January through 31 December of each additionally year exercised. AN ORGANIZED SITE VISIT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR: TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2009 at 9:00 a.m., (PDT) In order to participate in the site visit you must send the required documentation outlined below to Tamara Schroeder, via email (preferred method) Tamara.R.Schroeder@usace.army.mil or by phone at (541) 942-5631, no later than March 6th, 2009 at 1500 hours (PDT). Please provide the following: (1) Legal Full Name(s) (2) Company (3) Position (4) Work numbers of individuals whom will be attending the site visit (5) Date and place of birth for each individual (6) Any other information that might be needed for security reasons This information must be provided at least 24 hours prior to the site visit. Anyone not on the approved list prior to the start time of the site visit will not be allowed through the security gate. In order for foreign nationals to participate in the site visit under Force Protection Condition (FPCON) normal they must send in, along with the aforementioned information, a legible copy of their passport and visa is required seven (7) business days prior to the site visit. This is necessary for security purposes to gain entry to the facility. Further, if the FPCON level is at Alpha or higher the aforementioned information is required seven (7) working days prior to the site visit for processing via the Foreign Disclosure Office with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters. If the required information is not provided as specified or the individual does not pass the Governments security check, then the said individual will not be permitted to attend the scheduled site visit. (c) Participants will meet at: Location: Detroit Dam 40990 HWY 22 Mill City, Oregon Specific meeting place will be provided prior to site visit date. Please bring your hard hat and steel toed boots for this site visit. This solicitation is Set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
