Description
PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE PERSONNEL SECURITYDEPARTMENT. The Department of Energy, National Nuclear SecurityAdministration(DOE/NNSA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to procurepsychological assessment services from board-certified psychiatrist(s).Theprimary place of performance is Amarillo, Texas. The scope of work will require the contractor to be capable of providingclinical evaluation or assessment, written opinion, and formal testimonyforthe DOE/NNSA, Personnel Security Department (PSD) to use in determining anindividuals eligibility for a DOE/NNSA access authorization/securityclearance. NNSA plans to issue the RFP in March 2009 with proposals due approximatelyApril 2009. This requirement will be a competitive, 100% Small Businessset-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) Code is 621112, Offices of Physicians, Mental Health Specialists,witha small business size standard of $10 million. The contract type beingconsidered for this award is an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity(IDIQ)type contract. The IDIQ contract period of performance is anticipated tobefive years. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, orrevised at any time during the solicitation or final award process, and issubject to the availability of funds. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteriasetforth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government willresult inselection of a contractor that represents the best overall value to thegovernment.
