Description
The Stratton VA Medical Center, located in Albany, New York, has a need for specialized medical resources to be furnished by a Contractor. The specialized medical resources required are to provide for inpatient medically supervised withdrawal services for veteran beneficiaries. It is preferred that Medically Supervised Withdrawal Services occur at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. Space is available at the VA for this joint venture. A Pre-Bid Conference/Walk-Thru will be held at the VA on Wednesday, March 4th at 11:00 AM, 7th Floor, D-Wing. Attendance is not mandatory, however it is strongly suggested. Additional opportunities for viewing the space will not be available. The Contractor will provide inpatient medically supervised withdrawal services (detoxification) 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year. The pricing provided by the contractor for Medically Supervised Withdrawal Services are all inclusive of equipment, facility, nursing, technical personnel, drugs, supplies and professional services. Contractor is responsible for the payment of physician services as outlined by this contract. The services covered by the contract pricing include oversight of all aspects of care while a VA patient is receiving treatment in the contractor facility. It is estimated that 1,200 patient days will be required under this contract each twelve-month period. The exact number of patients to be referred cannot be determined. The quantities listed in the Fee Schedule are estimates only and are not to be considered a minimum or maximum.
