- The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Roman L. Hruska U.S. Meat Animal Research Center, Clay Center, Nebraska, intends to enter into a single source contract with Roche Diagnostics, Indianapolis, Indiana, for a Field Service Agreement for one Government-owned Roche GS FLX 454 DNA Sequencer. Roche is the sole source for replacement parts with components for the GS FLX 454 DNA Sequencer either fabricated by Roche Diagnostics or sourced solely for Roche Diagnostics for this instrument. Training to support the GS FLX 454 DNA Sequencer is only available to Roche Diagnostics personnel. Other interested parties may submit questions and/or qualifications statements by Close of Business March 5, 2009 if interested in this procurement.
