- Item 0001: Ground Handling Adapter for loading ammunition to aircraft, NSN: 1730-00-624-1131RN, P/N: T1F69J. The purpose of the Fork Adapter is to standardize U.S. Air Force equipment for the MJ-1's Aerial Stores Lift Trucks or Fighter Service Trailer for loading bombs and fuel tanks weighing up to 2,250 pounds onto aircraft, which require the bottom of the item to be within 1-1/2 inches off the ground. Quantity: Production Qty: 10 Ea. Option I Qty: 1 to 6 Ea. The Option may be exercised for AF (Air Force) or FMS (Foreign Military Sales) requirements. Delivery: Delivery schedule: 240 Days ARO. Ship To: FE6324 (AF) and DAE002 (FMS) This RFP is being issued as a competitive small-business set-aside. Anticipated solicitation date is approximately 6 March 2009 with responses due 6 April 2009. A technical data package is available for this item. All responsible sources shall prepare and submit their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFP, which shall be considered by the agency. The government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS). Proposals will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. The RFP will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. If you desire to obtain a copy, you must go to www.fedbizopps.gov to do so. No telephone requests will be honored. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor prior to the cut-off date and time will be accepted. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. All questions regarding the RFP and/or data packages must be submitted in writing to Philip.Earthly.1@robins.af.mil, with copy to Kathryn.Canady@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONIC QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included.
