Description

The current regional local telecommunications services contract with AT&T (GS00Q08AHD0073) will end on February 19, 2009. This notice is to advise that the General Services Administration (GSA), Region 5 intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, continued performance not to exceed 10 months. The estimated dollar value is $628,415.10. This contract is authorized pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements and FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. The incumbent is in place, operational and able to provide the services during this interim period with full system implementation without service interruption or degradation. GSA cannot perform its mission during this interim period nor can it tolerate the disruption to its customer agencies. The interim period encompasses the time needed to complete the transition of intralata services to the Chicago Area Local Services Contract (CALSC). This is not a formal solicitation. The Government does not require individual acknowledgement by potential respondents.
