- This requirement pertains to the purchase of hydraulic power units, valve control panels and spare parts for use in the Lower Granite Intake Gate hydraulic operating system. Installation will be completed by Lower Granite project forces with a factory service technician performing on site technical assistance and commissioning services. The new equipment shall consist of two hydraulic power units, six valve control panels and all recommended spare parts. Each power unit shall be capable of individually unseating and raising one intake gate via means of its hydraulic cylinder. Each power unit shall arrive on a self-contained skid with all associated valving and piping read to be connected to the existing system piping. The six valve control panels, one for each units intake gates, shall be capable of directing the working fluid to raise or lower any one of the three intake gates for the panels associated unit. These valve control panels shall be delivered on an approved mounting board with all the piping ready to be connected to the existing system piping. All piping, valves, components, materials and final assemblies shall conform to the attached specifications. Evaluation of quotes for this procurement will be accomplished using the lowest price technically acceptable method, with emphasis on contractor past performance. Offerors must submit past performance data with their quote. Acceptable past performance data consists of two verifiable references in which the contractor performed work similar in nature to this solicitation. Past performance data will include a point of contact name, address, phone number and/or email address, along with the contract amount and date performed.
