- DESC-PLC 19 FEB 2009 MEMORANDUM FOR SOURCES SOUGHT SUBJECT: Notice of Web Publishing of Sources Sought Notice SP0600-09-0204 under Customer Organized Group 7 (COG 7), Posts, Camps & Stations (PC&S) Program in AZ, CA, NV, and UT This Sources Sought Notice (SS) is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC). The purpose of this SS is to identify qualified Small Refineries that are capable of supplying product via vendors for the ground fuels requirement for DESC Customer Organized Group 7 (COG 7). Small Refineries are defined as refineries that produce less than 125, 000 Barrels per Calendar Day and have 500 employees or less. This SS covers the ground fuels requirement for DESC in the States of: Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah. The types of fuel include: RFG Regular Unleaded (MMR), ULSD #2 (DSS), Gasohol, Regular Unleaded (GUR) and Biodiesel B20 (BDI). The deadline for responding to this Source of Sought Notice is 06 MARCH 2009. In responding to this notice please provide your company name, email address, phone/fax number, types of fuel capable of supplying and which states the fuel can be supplied. In addition please state clearly that your refinery is in fact considered a Small Refinery as defined above, state acceptable payment terms (i.e. Net 10 days, Net 30 days), include a statement whether or not your company uses pipelines and if so if those pipelines are shared with any other company (and if shared provide shared companies information as well).
