Description
This is a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6. The solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The FBO site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed through the FBO site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site ensure that they have the most up to date information about this requirement. The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), has a requirement to acquire services for the purpose of legal advertising of seized property. The FBI is mandated by statute to publish all civil administrative seizures in a newspaper of general circulation in all judicial districts of the United States and its territories. The publication shall be designed to provide notice to any party who is unknown to the FBI in the judicial district of seizure and who has an interest in the property. This notice advises how to contest the forfeiture. The offeror must operate a newspaper of general circulation in all judicial districts of the United States and its territories, advertise once a week for every week of every month as necessary. Each advertisement must be published on the same day of the week at one (1) week intervals for three (3) consecutive weeks. Advertisements shall include, at a minimum, specific descriptive information regarding the property and its seizure by the FBI, listing specific statutory authority. Advertisement of seized properties shall not be placed in periodicals, magazines, books etc. The NAICS code is 541810. Interested parties are to request a copy of RFP #934294,by email at:
