Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0008 for the procurement of Precision Terrain Aided Navigation (PTAN) development support and integration efforts for the Tomahawk Block IV missile. This effort is to continue to support the PTAN developer with the development and design maturation of the PTAN subsystem and provide expertise in integrating PTAN into the Tomahawk Block IV All-Up-Round (AUR). The effort will cover the procurement of materials and engineering required to support simulations and test mission development as well as integration of PTAN with the Tomahawk Block IV avionics and demonstration via a captive carry flight test. NAVAIR intends to award the effort to Raytheon Company, P.O. Box 11337, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337. Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the Tomahawk Block IV missile. As such, Raytheon is the only known source that possesses the unique expertise, proprietary data, manufacturing equipment and facilities to perform this effort in the required timeframe. Notes 22 and 26 apply.
