Description
The Kootenai National Forest anticipates awarding one or more Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity type contract(s) for multi-trade facilities construction, maintenance, repair and remodel work for Rexford, Fortine, Three Rivers, Libby, and Cabinet Ranger Districts, located within Lincoln and Sanders Counties, Montana. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, personnel, supervision, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals to perform work identified in individual Task Orders. Types of work include, but are not limited to, work on buildings and other structures; re-roofing (metal and asphalt shingles); painting (interior and exterior); electrical systems; thermal and moisture protection; finishes; specialty items; equipment;heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems; fencing; water distribution systems; wells; sprinkler systems; and toilets. Additional services may include masonry; locksmith; plaster and drywall; finish and rough carpentry; plumbing and pipefitting; electrical (interior and exterior); and sheet metal work and welding. The types of buildings work will be performed include residential; office or administrative buildings; training facilities; bunk houses; and storage buildings such as garages or warehouses. Buildings may be in use during the repair or reconstruction. The age of buildings covered under this contract range from historic to new structures. The Government anticipates individual task orders for specific work typically ranging, but not limited to, $2,500 to $30,000. In the event a task order exceeds $30,000, Contractors will be required to obtain alternate payment protection (bonding) for orders between $30,000 and $100,000. The IDIQ contract(s) will be for a base period of one year with 2 option renewal periods. Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply to the IDIQ contract(s), therefore, weekly certified payrolls are required. The price range is between $250,000 and $500,000 for the base year plus all option renewal years.
