Description
Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic,Charleston, SC intends to award a sole source contract to CommunicationAutomation Corporation, 1180 McDermott Drive, West Chester, PA 19380-4022,for the delivery of 67 each DPT-5 Circuit Card Assemblies, Part NumberPC5C00. The acquisition is being conducted in support of the Technical ControlAnalysis Center (TCAC) Family of Systems (FoS). TCAC is the Senior SignalsIntelligence (SIGINT) system in the Marine Corps and provides capabilities forthe Marine Forces (MARFOR) to: analyze SIGINT and Electronic Intelligence(ELINT) data, steerage and management of collection assets, production ofSIGINT and ELINT products, and maintenance of data and voicecommunications connectivity to various assets at varying levels (includingnational, higher, adjacent, and intra Radio Battalion (RadBn)) within theintelligence community. TCAC FoS is the Marine Corps' primary access pointand dissemination for SIGINT and ELINT information held on the NationalSecurity Agency Network (NSANet). The DPT-5 Card allows the TCAC Tactical ONEROOF and TCAC RAWS to shareinformation and link to other Electronic Warfare and Signal Intelligencecollection sensors and systems. The DPT-5 card has been accredited for useby NSA, the accrediting authority for equipment used in conjunction with NSAsystems and NSANet. Delivery for the equipment shall be 120 days after receipt of the contractaward. Due to critical mission requirements, delays beyond the above deliveryschedule are unacceptable. A commercial, firm-fixed-price type contract isanticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) code is 334418, and the size standard is 500 employees. Thisannouncement is not a request for competitive proposals.
