Description
The following questions/answers are provided for clarification: 1. Once RFI responses are received, when will a future RFP be released? Answer: This RFI is for market research, to determine potential offerors interested in and the capabilities thereof, for handling this type of requirement. Target date for posting RFP is 1 April 2009. 2. Do vendors with a GSA contract have any advantage in this procurement? Answer: No. At this time, we are anticipating Full and Open Competition. 3. Do small or other special designation businesses (SDB, WBE, etc.) have any advantage? Answer: Given the magnitude of this requirement, we are anticipating Full and Open Competition. Small business are incouraged to participate as prime or subcontractors. Teaming of small businesses with large businesses, or vice versa, is a normally acceptable practice in the government's attempt to meet SBA objectives. 4. Is this a new requirement or a follow-on activity? If it is a follow-on, can you please provide the following information: Answer: This is a continuing requirement. Services are currently being provided under two VASS contracts, ending 30 September 2009. the government can only provide the following publicly released information. a. Contractor names: BRSI / Signature Performance, LLC b. Contract numbers: GS23F0186L-797S50007 / GS23F0285K-797S50006 c. Award date: 1 October 2004 (Both) d. Value: Initial Cost Ceiling Estimated at $2,850,000.00 (Based on anticipated declining costs (Percentage Rate) as magnitude of collectibles increased.) e. Expiration date: 30 September 2009 (Both) 5. To whom should technical questions be referred? Answer: To the Contract Administrator or Contracting Officer noted in this RFI
