Description

Purchase Number 0021139547, NSN: 3120-00-346-7239, Bearing, Plain, Self-Aligning. Approved sources for this NSN: United Technologies Corporation, CAGE 77445, Part Number 4005227, 4048593, 4082610, 4083117) and New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. (CAGE 15860, Part Number 4011139). Solicitation is for a base year. FOB Point is Destination, Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. The requested quantity is 4083 each. Quantity variance is plus or minus 0%. The Government's required delivery schedule is 112 DARO for Stock. This is a Critical Application Item, Air Force Critical Safety Item (CSI), Flight Safety Critical Item, Export Controlled Item, and Configuration Control Item. Solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis, other than full and open competition procedures. Solicitation will result in a Firmed Fixed Price Contract. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described are not availableand cannot be furnished by the Government on this NSN. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated solicitation issue date will be on or around 2 March 2009. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, the vendor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at www.dibbs.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors.
