Description

DESCRIPTION: PR 0020640559, 5961-01-004-8229. Approved source(s): Microsemi Corp-Massachusetts (50101) for Part Number UM9158 & Northrop Grumman Systems (97942) for Part Number 649A85H01. The requirement is for 294 each to be delivered to New Cumberland, PA (W25G1U) within 90 days. All responsible sources may submit an offer/proposal which shall be considered. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date of March 2, 2009. Hard copies of this solicitation are NOT available. This is an unrestricted procurement. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation date.. Various increments solicited: from 150 ea to 299 ea; from 300 ea to 449 ea; from 450 ea to 599 ea; from 600 ea to 800 ea. Proposed procurement contains a 100% option for increased quantities. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: Microsemi Corp-Massachusetts (50101) for Part Number UM9158 & Northrop Grumman Systems (97942) for Part Number 649A85H01. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
