- VISN 7 Network Contracting Activity intents to solicit for require home oxygen service for approximately 500 entitled veterans for the VAMC Birmingham AL and 150 entitled veterans for the VAMC Tuscaloosa AL who are located throughout the state of Alabama. Services will be for a base year with four one-year options for renewal. The successful contractor, all branch office and subcontractor must meet JCAHO standard and in good standing for equipment management and clinical respiratory services. The effective base year period is projected to be May 1, 2009 through September 30, 2009. The NAICS code for this procurement is 532291. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside and the non-manufacturer rule applies. Evaluation factors will be Demonstrated Capability, Personnel Qualifications, Past Performance and Cost/Pricing. The relative importance of each factor is in descending order of precedence.
