- The Centers for IDIQ Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announces its intention to negotiate a cost reimbursement type contract for CDC's Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases (CCID), to provide National Prevention Information Network (NPIN) Support Services the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with an as needed mechanism to obtain support services sponsored by CDC's National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP). More information about NCHHSTP can be found at http://www.cdc.gov/nchhstp/About.htm.NCHHSTP's primary mechanism for supporting network partnerships is the National Prevention Information Network (NPIN). The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, facilities, and materials necessary to perform on a task order basis. The major task to be completed under this contract include, 1) Networking: Communication Channel Management Database Development, Analysis, and Maintenance 2) Education: Inventory Development and Maintenance Development of Special Data Products 3). Mobilization: Marketing and Outreach Stakeholder Engagement Support and Monitoring Communication Support Services 4) Capacity Building: Reference and Referral Services Training and Technical Assistance Technology Assessment Planning 5) System Monitoring: Monitoring, Evaluating, and Tracking Implementation of Program Services Planning and Implementing Program Enhancements 6) Knowledge into Action: Scanning for Best Practices and New Developments Planning and Implementing Program Enhancements. The CDC anticipates a period of performance from September 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010, with four additional option years This is not a request for Proposal. The intention of this notice is to notify potential offerors that Solicitation No. 2009-N-11001 will be available for download on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov on or before February 27, 2009. The requirement will be awarded as 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 519130, Small Business standard is 500 employees. Additionally, all questions must be submitted in writing to Deborah Workman at atl7@cdc.gov. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for any amendments make to this notice.
