- The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Mentor Graphics Corporation, 8005 SW Boeckman Rd., Wilsonville, OR 97070-9733 for Modelsim SE/VHDL Annual Software Support Renewal. Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received within fourteen (14) days after date of publication of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 541511. SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION: AFRL/RITC requires software maintenance for three (3) floating Modelsim licenses. The Software maintenance includes the ability to run the latest software updates and support for questions. Mentor Graphics Corporation is the only company that can provide software maintenance because it is the software developer; therefore, it is the only authority able to grant renewal of software licenses and provide maintenance updates of the software.
