Description
The Europe Regional Medical Command (ERMC) requires maintenance and repair of VTC Equipment located at Nachrichten Kaserne, Heidelberg, Germany. SCOPE: The contractor will respond to calls for assistance within a certain timeframe (between 4 - 48 hours) depending on the urgency. Repairs or replacement of equipment will be completed within 24 Hours. This means that if the part is not functioning properly, the vendor will install a replacement until the original part is either fixed or replaced permanently. TASK REQUIREMENTS: The vendor - "Will track all requests for assistance from initial contact to resolution to ensure that all calls are appropriately assigned and responded to within the appropriate timeframes. "Will provide on site support between 0800 and 1700 European Time "Will provide assistance with any malfunctioning or mis-calibrated equipment. "Will be responsible for troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment, repairing or replacing equipment. "Will provide over the shoulder training twice a year for incoming personnel in the operation of equipment. "Will perform minor customizations as needed. Minor customizations are defined as customizations that can be performed within one day by the vendor, to include rewiring equipment. The Government - "Will report the problem to the vendor either telephonically or by email. "Will identify any error messages or symptoms of malfunction that have occurred. "Give a brief problem description to the vendor. "Provide a status of the system in order to define the correct priority level and corresponding response time. "Will schedule the conference room for vendor to have access to equipment as required. A site visit will be scheduled upon release of the solicitation.
